Are you a millionaire or multi-millionaire who's ready to make a commitment to give the majority of your wealth to charitable causes? If so, we'd like to provide you with details on becoming the promise.
We have a simple, but robust mission: to encourage people to give back. We do that by providing a platform whereby giving back can be both public and intentional. We want to make a difference in the world thru giving.

FINANCIAL ADVISOR, EDWARD JONES
I have been incredibly fortunate in my life to never have had to experience the difficulties I see in the world every day. I can’t imagine what it’s like to go hungry or to do without needed medication - and I think it’s a shame that with so much abundance in this world, anyone should. With that desire in my heart, I created The Give Back Promise.
I had a very modest start in life. But I was fortunate enough to build wealth over the years. I built wealth certainly with my own efforts, but also with the help of others who gave generously to me. They gave me advice, opportunities, knowledge and wisdom. They didn't do this because they expected something in return. They gave because they knew this undeniable fact - that their life would become richer, the more they gave away.
Along the way, I learned that principle as well. I also developed a sense of indebtedness to my community, my country and to others less fortunate, for an environment that allowed me to make the most of the opportunities afforded to me. I consider it a responsibility, a duty, to do what I can to help provide some of those same opportunities to others less fortunate. I want to use my wealth to effect change.
To this end, I've made a pledge to give the majority of my wealth to philanthropy and I'm encouraging the world's wealthiest people to do the same. To lead by example. To make a difference. To live a legacy and to leave a legacy. To promise to give back.
